The ShapeFab technology leads to a new generation of components with structures from 300 μm. High-precision components can be made smaller, lighter and multifunctional. For example, fixing geometries can be integrated directly into optical functional and free-form surfaces. This allows components to be integrated into the end application with μm precision, even without fixtures or further alignment elements. The entire technical system can be designed compactly and costs for additional mechanical components are eliminated.
A wide range of possible applications and component geometries can thus be implemented. Below you will find a selection of product examples and component functions.

Vacuum clamping plates / Vacuum chucks
In order to be able to process wafers without damage, they must be held by means of vacuum chucks. The cutout shows an exemplary design of the intake duct.
